DESIGN ENGINEER
To expand our team, we are looking for a highly driven and imaginative Design Engineer. Through the creation of creative solutions, you will be a key player in the product development process as a design engineer. In order to guarantee that our products fulfill quality, performance, and cost criteria, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. Strong engineering roots, outstanding problem-solving abilities, and a drive to produce innovative concepts are prerequisites for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product design: is the process of creating systems, parts, and products that adhere to project needs and specifications.
- CAD modeling: is the process of creating 2D and 3D models of parts and assemblies using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Building and testing prototypes allows you to assess design ideas, make necessary adjustments, and ensure functionality.
- Material Selection: Select the right materials in accordance with performance standards and design specifications.
- Engineering Analysis: Perform finite element analysis, stress analysis, and additional engineering simulations as required.
- Cooperation: To guarantee that designs are feasible to produce and adhere to project schedules, carefully collaborate with cross-functional teams from manufacturing, quality assurance, and project management.
- Cost Control: Prioritize cost-effectiveness and budget conformance when managing design projects.
- Documentation: Produce thorough design records, including specifications, reports, and drawings.
- Constant Improvement: Seek for chances to optimize designs and support initiatives aimed at enhancing products.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree (a master's degree is desirable) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar subject.
- Years of product design and engineering experience (number may change based on seniority level).
- Proficiency with CAD programs (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar programs).
- Strong grasp of materials science and engineering principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good teamwork and communication abilities.
- Both the ability to design for manufacturability and knowledge of production processes.
- Knowledge of industry norms and guidelines.
- It's advantageous to have prior product lifecycle management (PLM) tool experience.
