JOB DESCRIPTION

EMAIL MARKETER

Planning, developing, and implementing email marketing campaigns to draw in and keep customers, advertise goods and services, and increase conversions are the responsibilities of an email marketer. To accomplish marketing goals and optimize email campaign efficacy, this position calls for a blend of strategic thinking, inventiveness, and analytical abilities.

Through email campaigns, the email marketer is essential to building relationships with clients, fostering lead generation, and increasing sales. The ability to design compelling, successful email campaigns that satisfy the organization's goals and KPIs is a key indicator of success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Email Marketing Plan: Create email marketing tactics that support the overarching company and marketing objectives. Determine target markets and market niches to customize advertising for certain clientele. Email campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and transactional messages, should be planned and scheduled ahead of time.
  • Generating Content: Provide enticing and eye-catching email content that includes multimedia, photos, and copy. Make sure your email content is useful, interesting, and consistent with your brand's messaging.
  • Managing Lists: Organize and uphold email lists, segmenting them as needed to facilitate focused correspondence. Use list hygiene procedures to get rid of unsubscribed or inactive subscribers. Keep an eye on and abide by legislation pertaining to data protection and email marketing (such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR).
  • Design and Testing of Emails: Create and improve email templates for a range of email clients and devices. To increase open and click-through rates, perform A/B testing to improve the subject lines, content, and layout.
  • Automating and Customizing: Create and oversee email automation processes for client retention, onboarding, and lead nurturing. Customize email content according to the demographics, inclinations, and behavior of your customers.
  • Examining the Campaign: Key performance data, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI, should be monitored and analyzed. To better upcoming campaigns, use analytics tools to gain insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • Reporting Activities: Provide the marketing team and management with frequent reports on the effectiveness of email marketing efforts. To improve results, continuously optimize campaigns using the analysis and insights.
  • Deliverability and Placement in the Inbox: Keep an eye on email deliverability rates and take the appropriate steps to preserve your good reputation as a sender. Make sure emails end up in the primary inboxes of the recipients rather than spam folders.
  • Regulations and Compliance: Keep up of changes to email marketing legislation and make sure you're following all applicable laws. Preserve precise documentation and implement opt-in/opt-out procedures to honor subscribers' desires.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree (or comparable experience) in marketing, communications, or a similar profession.
  • Proficiency using email marketing services like Constant Contact, MailChimp, or others.
  • Solid knowledge of spam laws, deliverability, and best practices for email marketing.
  • Strong content generation and copywriting abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to assess the efficacy of campaigns.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong organizing and detail-oriented abilities.
  • Designing email templates requires some familiarity with HTML and CSS.
